November 24, my family and two dogs were lucky enough to stay for a long weekend at Moorside Farm Holiday Cottage. The cottage was the most immaculate we've ever stayed in and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Perfectly situated to visit surrounding villages and towns and lovely walks on the doorstep. Parking and a great enclosed garden for the dogs. The friendly hosts are close by if needed and we would definitely like to return some time in the future. Highly recommended by the Schofield's from Derbyshire.

I feel so lucky to have found Moorside Farm Holiday Cottage. It is everything one could wish for in a holiday home. The location is perfect for cyclists, walkers, sightseers and those who just want to chill. The cottage has been lovingly restored by the owners, Claire and Jason, who have spared nothing in making it a beautiful, well-equipped and welcoming place from which to explore and enjoy the Dales. We loved the space and comfort the cottage afforded; the quirky lay-out of some of the bedrooms, the mezzanine areas for play or retreat and the attention to those extra, thoughtful details such as a hairdryer and TV in every bedroom. Every room is tastefully furnished and immaculately presented. It’s a place for everyone - adults and children alike. A real home from home. Claire and Jason are caring and hospitable hosts. They make themselves available to deal promptly with any issues that might arise and provide the most welcoming of welcome packs. They even include chocolate if it’s your birthday! We will be back

Everything about Moorside Farm Holiday Cottage is just perfect. The interest and care of us before we arrived was so very welcome, informative and reassuring including places to visit, things to do with children and a real personal touch with welcome hampers for humans and dogs :)The house has absolutely everything you need and in abundance. The beds are exceptionally comfortable and the bed linen of real quality. With four adults, two small children and a dog we wondered whether the house would be big enough but we needn't have worried...there is ample space and I absolutely loved the quirky top bedroom and sleeping under the stars with the roof window open. Whilst the house is close to the road, the gardens are completely enclosed and safe for dogs and children. I cannot fault anything about Moorside Farm and would highly recommend.

After staying in the cottage for a few weeks, I can guarantee that there’s no other place quite like it! The house was very cozy and a great fit for my friends and I. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms were nice and tidy, and the living room was a great place to unwind in after being out for the whole day. The cottage was also equipped with supplies that could easily be forgotten, like dishwasher tablets and laundry capsules. The kitchen also had a variety of pans and pots that were useful when cooking! The hospitality was another highlight. Claire and Jason were incredible hosts; they were always willing to help us out when we came across any issues, even if they didn’t need to (like issues with transportation, or dealing with very wet boots and jackets after a rainy day). They were always very friendly when we came across them in the mornings and evenings. Meeting their cats and being greeted by them was another thing that I really enjoyed! I highly recommend staying in the cottage. The cottage itself, the hosts, and the beautiful views make it all worth it.

Had a wonderful time at the cottage. Claire and Jason are such great hosts, they know the area very well and were happy to help with anything really. PS: Make sure to pay the cuddle tax to Ice the cat 😉
