Had a great stay at Moorside, it’s ideally located and both Claire and Jason are excellent hosts and very helpful the cottage itself is beautifully decorated and very clean and spacious we will definitely look to book again for our next visit to the dales

We spent 4 nights at Moorside Farm (4 adults, 2 children and a dog) and we were pleasantly surprised by the amount of room there was ( much more than the photos had suggested). The cottage was lovely and clean and very well equipped - especially the spacious kitchen. Beds were very comfy - duvet perhaps a bit warm for our liking. There are plenty of things to do with a family within the area and we can definitely recommend the Stump Cross cavern just up the road. Maybe the only hiccup was having to leave the cottage on the last morning by nine o’clock - would have preferred 10 o’clock as in many other places we have stayed. This is a much loved and well presented cottage which we would like to return to in the future.

What a wonderful piece of the world! I have stayed at Moorside Farm Holiday Cottage a couple of times now and it is so peaceful and relaxing here. The farmhouse itself has been restored beautifully with a modern hint to bring it up to date. It is fully equipped with everything you could need, and Claire and Jason (the hosts) are more than happy to help with anything you need, whether it be something for the cottage or recommendations on the best places to visit in The Dales. The surrounding countryside and villages are stunning, and I can guarantee you'll leave feeling very 'Zen' and want to come back!

I would highly recommend moorside farm holiday cottage. Me and a group of friends stayed here for a couple of nights away before our best friend tied the knot. On arrival the cottage was cleaned immaculately and beautifully presented. Set in the beautiful Yorkshire dales we were spoilt for choice for amazing views. We absolutely loved our stay , it was definitely the perfect place to unwind and escape from the kaos of everyday life. Thank you so much for making us feel welcome Claire and Jason

The cottage is spacious and well decorated and has good facilities, including three showers and a cycle store. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Serves as an excellent comfortable base for a North Yorks cycling holiday.

Claire and Jason have a beautifully modernised farmhouse in a lovely location tucked into the Dales, which was perfect for us as a group of 5 cyclists. We had loads of space and would have easily accommodated more or say 2 families each with children. The rooms are to the highest standard and we were very comfortable. There is a very well kept garden space front which was great for a barbecue or relaxing. There is a log burner and cosy rooms so expect would be lovely at any time of year. The village is around 1/2 mile down the road and has a lovely pub with great community atmosphere and excellent chef (Clarendon Arms) Would recommend, we will certainly return when we can.

Lovely, cosy cottage with beautiful views of the surrounding dales. The cottage is clean & well equipped and the owners were great hosts. We really appreciated the basket of treats and useful bits for our dog!

What a fabulous find. Absolutely immaculate, the owners have thought of everything in the kitchen. Didn’t want for anything. Lovely & spacious, 4 lovely bedrooms with such comfy beds. Parking on site. We did walks from the door to Grassington, Burnsall & Grimwith reservoir. The village of Hebden is only a 20mins stroll away where there is a lovely little tearoom & the local pub ‘The Clarendon’ serving lovely food & hand pulled ales, they also host a Sunday night quiz. Thoroughly enjoyable time spent at Moorside Farm Cottage, would definitely recommend!

We have had the most glorious week in Moorside Farm Cottage. We have had a big family holiday for my mam's special birthday. The house is spacious yet cosy, bedrooms comfortable and the kitchen well equipped - we cooked at the house all week. A large dining room was there which meant we could all fit round to share in family meals together. Lots of lovely memories made ♡

Thank you to Claire and Jason for an amazing family holiday which we had planned to celebrate my mum's birthday. Moorside farm holiday cottage was very well equipped, very comfortable and Claire and Jason went out of their way to ensure my mum had a comfortable stay even though she had some mobility issues; nothing was too much trouble. The cottage was spacious and the location was a great base to explore some of the surrounding beautiful scenery within Yorkshire. I would not hesitate to recommend Moorside Farm holiday cottage to family and friends and would definitely like to plan a return visit at some point in the future. Thank you for a memorable holiday - Helen and family.
